He isn't afraid to push the boundaries of what film can teach an audience. He did everything himself to make his directorial debut, "Through the Eyes of Sera Flynn," a coming-of-age drama told entirely through the lens of memory and friendship. He also has a feature-length screenplay for a film titled "Come Back Around", another heartfelt project drawn from real-life experiences, that he hopes will be his first film once picked up by a studio. His past stage work includes his first main role as Snoopy in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". Now focusing more on film, JaySmith hopes to make waves as a bold new voice in independent filmmaking.
