Standing 2.31 m (7 ft 7 in), he has drawn attention for his exceptional height. After moving to the United States in 2016 and attending high school in Geneva, Ohio, he attended and played for Rochester Christian University in Rochester Hills, Michigan, through the 2021–2022 season.
