She was born in Vietnam and moved to Germany at the age of two, where she grew up in Anklam. At just eight years old, she joined the Fritz-Reuter-Ensemble, gaining her first experiences in dance, acrobatics, and acting. In 2020, she completed her *Abitur* (high school diploma) at the Lilienthal-Gymnasium in Anklam with an average grade of 1.4, initially planning to pursue a degree in Medical Physics. Through her ex-boyfriend, Ole Koehler, she came into contact with the world of film and television; shortly after graduating, she landed her first role in the award-winning series *Druck*, in which she has portrayed the character Kieu My Vu since the fifth season. This was followed by further roles in film and television productions, including *Ein Taxi zur Bescherung*. In 2025, she made her feature film debut, taking on a role in *Mädchen Mädchen*. Shortly thereafter, she also appeared in the film *Zweigstelle*. Nhung Hong lives in Berlin.
