Emilio Echevarría

He would begin his extensive career as an actor in 1978, as an active member of the Constitution of Art and Society. He was part of the theater group Circo, Maroma y Teatro, an institution that would open its doors to him, where he had actors such as José Luis Ibáñez, Otto Minera and Dimitrio Sarrás as teachers. He began his career in film with A Crucial Day for Ausencio Paredes (1987), and later participated in films such as Intimidad (1989), Ana's Steps (1991), Novia que te ver (1994), Preludio (1999). He rose to fame with the role of El Chivo, in the acclaimed film Amores Perros (2000), by Alejandro González Iñárritu. After his participation in the film, Echevarría became a highly sought-after actor.
