In 2003, he graduated in drama acting from the Theater Faculty of the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. He has performed on stages in Brno: at the Polárka Theater, the JAMU Marta Theater Studio, the Divadlo v 7 a půl Theater, the National Theater in Brno during the 2004–2005 season, and the HaDivadlo Theater the following season. Since 2006, he has been a member of the Dejvické divadlo theater company; he also acts in films and on television. In addition, he is a big fan of ice hockey. In the NHL, he supports the Chicago Blackhawks.
