He also previously competed in Ring of Honor (ROH), where he held the ROH World Television Championship and ROH World Tag Team Championship. Fletcher rose to prominence alongside fellow Australian Mark Davis as Aussie Open, becoming part of one of the world's top tag teams and winning championships across NJPW, Revolution Pro Wrestling, Westside Xtreme Wrestling, and other promotions. During their time in NJPW from 2019 to 2023, Aussie Open won the IWGP Tag Team Championship and became the inaugural and record-setting two-time Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions. After being voted Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Most Improved in 2024 and named Sports Illustrated's Breakout Wrestler of the Year in 2025, Fletcher was ranked No. 21 in the Pro Wrestling Illustrated PWI 500 in 2026.
