She attended the University of Southern California getting her Bachelors in Environmental Studies and minor in Theatre. She's written numerous produced screenplays that have been distributed worldwide including a nine episode web-series that was filmed 100% remotely during Covid lock down, Pandemic Pillow Talk. Summer starred in the series which was a spin-off of one of her shorts. A domestic press tour covered the series that also starred Eric Roberts.
