He is known for his roles in movies like "The Mask" (1994), "Christmas Vacation" (1989), "Herbie: Fully Loaded" (2005), and "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" (1991), where he played Lieutenant Commander Dimitri Valtane—a role he reprised in the TV show "Star Trek: Voyager." He also has a strong background in repertory theater with performances at the Pacific Conservatory Theater and the Denver Center Theater.
