In addition to acting, Herman has extensive directing, writing, and casting credits in theatre and film. In 2019, he was given the 'best emerging performance' award at the Chesapeake Film Festival for his work in The Land. In 2026, his first novel will be published, Las Cruces: Blood Relative.
