He began his career as a child artist and dubbing artist, later dubbing for actors including Suman and Rajasekhar during the 1980s and early 1990s. He played the lead role in the 1996 action film Police Story and later appeared in films including Agni IPS and A.K. 47. From the mid-2000s, he took on character and antagonist roles in films including Samanyudu (2006), Prasthanam (2010), and RangiTaranga (2015). He received Nandi Awards, Filmfare Awards South, and SIIMA Awards for his work. He has also hosted television programs, including Deal or No Deal and WOW.
