She was a contestant and finalist on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2014. She is a trained Kathak dancer. She starts her film career with Gold in which his character is of a Bengali woman. Roy got married to the UAE-based Malayalee rich businessman Suraj Nambiar on Januray 27, 2022 in Goa.
