She is known for her roles in films and television dramas such as Satorare (2001), Shinku (2005), Good Luck!! (2003), Musashi (2003), and Kiraware Matsuko no Issho (2006). In 2006, she won the Newcomer of the Year award at the 30th Elan d’or Awards. She married actor Eisaku Yoshida in 2021.
