Imprisoned for communist propaganda, Nazım became legendary within the prison walls as his fame grew by word of mouth. A group of friends formed around him, inspired by his poetry and painting. However, the only thing on Nazım Hikmet's mind was his wife, Piraye. He was very curious about his wife, from whom he had not heard for a long time.
