In the summer of 1987 in Rio de Janeiro, thousands of cans of marijuana mysteriously wash up on the city's beaches, sparking a scramble for this unexpected "green gold." To investigate the case, Detective Dantas pairs up two federal agents with opposing temperaments: Sandra, a street-smart cop with a gambling addiction, and Brasa, a stickler for protocol who has never made an arrest.
