Salwa, the Little Girl Who Talks to Cows (1972)
The High Dam project led to the creation of new communities and the reclamation of land. The film tells the story of a young girl living near the newly irrigated areas. She forms a bond with a cow named Salwa at the project site. When the cow dies, the girl is devastated.
