In a city submerged by a dam collapse, life continues beneath the waves. Lilly, a daring young woman, takes part in the annual race called The Crossing, where the winner gets the chance to leave the flooded world behind. As she speeds through underwater streets, submerged buildings, and coral-lit alleys, memories resurface: this is no ordinary race. Every corner of the city reminds her of Simon, her lost love and co-architect of this aquatic paradise.
